ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

It’s Clean2Antarctica’s firm belief that if you want to reach a goal, you need to approach this in a very practical, hands-on way, even if this causes you to experience some discomfort.

It’s good to make plans, but try to implement them as soon as possible! If you don’t exactly know how, dare to experiment.

We dream of a green, nurturing and clean world in which we can keep inspiring each other to continue develop ourselves and our society. A circular society in which not only humans have rights, but everything that inhabits our planet. Even materials.

We want to accelerate the transition to a circular society because it is the right thing to do. We need to venture out into the unknown, since we don’t exactly know how to build a circular society. Therefore we need to experiment. Our expedition will result in new building blocks that will help us to build a circular society.

The Foundation Clean2Antarctica has a clear mission statement, which makes us accountable for our deeds.

1.The Foundation’s goal:

  • To raise consciousness and inspire people and organizations to further develop and implement sustainable alternatives for our present way of living and, in doing so, to accelerate the transition from a linear to a circular society.
  • To create initiatives that are related to before mentioned goal which promote this goal.

2.The Foundation strives to its goal by:

  • Organizing an inspiring clean expedition to Antarctica in order to generate publicity and awareness of sustainable ways of living.
  • Educating youths, as well as engaging them in projects related to the Clean2Antarctica expedition or the building of the Solar Voyager.
  • Developing the Solar Voyager in order to gather knowhow about sustainable innovations and applications.
  • Stimulating cooperation between different sectors (companies, civilians, political parties, social institutions, media etc.).
  • Making our knowledge and experiences as accessible as possible, in order to inspire people to strive for an acceleration of the transition to a circular society.

3.The Foundation does not strive to make profits
